From the trailer, this looks like a film that will honor firefighters in the best way possible. Esquire recently put out an excellent piece about Josh Brolin during which he discussed having lived with a number of firefighters during his years away from the spotlight prior to his career resurgence thanks to No Country for Old Men. The origins of Wonder Woman are revealed in the first trailer for Annapurna’s Professor Marston & The Wonder Women, an upcoming period drama starring Luke Evans, Rebeeca Hall and Bella. The trailer also shows us how inhospitable a place nature can be for human beings, watching fire tear through huge forests looks both beautiful and devastating. Based on a novel by David Ignatius, this action-drama about the CIAs attempt to capture an Islamic terrorist includes a slew of acting talent Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, and Moon Knight s Oscar Isaac, to name but three then saddles them with stock thriller roles that could be found in any number of similar movies. Only the Brave looks like a film that will celebrate both the camaraderie of the Granite Mountain Hotshots and the beauty of nature. Based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, a group of elite firefighters risk everything to protect a town from a historic wildfire. When the Yarnell Hill Fire starts the Hotshots are called upon to make sure the fire doesn’t spread to nearby Prescott. Looking out for each other is the only thing that will keep them alive during the dangerous work they do. Some of the guys give him a ribbing but team spirit is more important to this group of men than anything else. The Hotshots are introduced through the eyes of new recruit Brendan “Donut” McDonough ( Miles Teller). The Hotshots were a team of elite firefighters who fought the June 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire near Prescott, Arizona. Only the Brave tells the story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.
